Corporate taxi accounts

An account moves the payment out of the car. Staff, clients and visitors travel, and the journeys are billed to the company instead of being paid for — and expensed — one at a time.

What an account changes

Three things, mainly. Bookings can be made by somebody other than the passenger, so a PA or a reception desk can arrange a car for a visitor. Nobody has to pay at the end of the journey. And the travel arrives as one billed account rather than as a month of individual receipts.

Who it suits

Offices that move people around regularly: client collections from the station, visitors in from Gatwick, staff getting to a meeting across town, the end of a late shift. If your company is already reimbursing taxi fares on expenses, an account is usually the tidier arrangement.

Setting one up

Call 01273 220220 or email info@westerncarsbrighton.co.uk and tell us roughly how your organisation travels — who books, who travels, and how often. We will go through how bookings would be placed and how the account would be billed before anything is set up.

Questions and answers

How does a corporate account work?
Journeys are booked against your company account rather than paid for in the car, so staff and visitors travel without handling payment. We agree how your team books and how the account is billed when the account is set up.
Can we book travel for clients and visitors?
Yes. Bookings can be made by someone other than the passenger — a PA, an office manager or a reception desk — using the account.
